You dont need to "install" it. You literally take it from one car and put it in the other. No cables, not attached to the car. I just keep it in my arm rest where my iPod is...
I think it works by sending out a sort of electronic "pulse" and somehow "absorbs" vibrations or cuts it down as vibrations causes noise/frequency and this thing just cancels it out....SOMEHOW! ha ha
So no vibration means car is quieter, stable and the actual mechanical parts work more effectively..... I am not really sure, but thats how i understood it?

see ricky this is what I mean just like what we said today and like you say keith this is not good for the body at all and will do harm to some.
if this is so I will give it a miss until most have done the white mice and fully 100% ok to the humman body.
it is very strange that the company that makes it have no info or website for this
