Well there's virtually no second hand value for an E34 540i in HK and even an E39 540i for that matter as those cars are a nightmare to sell and use car dealer won't take it. So keeping it clean and shinny and treating it as a vintage is the only excuse for the owner to keep his car. Otherwise his friends might ask him questions like why not get a new car and stuff you know...
