also most car makers use mobile 1 because it is easy to get and very well know brand and like you say it is 100% safe for any kind of engines.
but BMW in other couturiers don't use mobile 1.
porsche hk also use mobile 1. a very important factor is that bmw tested oil to run 20k km, it must be okay (but this doesnt mean this is the slippiest oil on earth) and I am not going to argue w bmw and porsche test dept.

keith - last year I went to hitech in kowloon bay, there is a shop run by a japanese guy who specialised in importing car from japan. I test drove an ap2, the car was in v good condition and the owner look honest and geniune. check out the place w your mate, if memory serves, think its on the lower level, I will try to find the name card but no promise.

But i am sure Lambo still no match with Porsche in terms of "drive", Ferrari might do

But man, we cant say anything as we cant afford to own these cars
if day to day drive then the Porsche will win any supercar or sports car.
It is much easy to look out the windows

Are you contradicting yourself a bit? You said at first Lambo and ferrari is easier to drive, now its Porsche.

Confused.

for my old e60 I used 4 kinds of oil

ultraman good start to thicken at 7k $280 4L
ultraman was good and cheap, the feeling is smooth and quite.

Lubrolene SUPER RACING REVO G-SPEC very good start to thicken at 10k about $680 4L
REVO G-SPEC is the best out of the 4 but at a cost
http://www.lubrolene...oduct_revo.html (sorry all in japanese)

shell is ok but it starts to thicken at 3k about $580 4L

mobile 1 is not good start to thicken at 1k about $580 4L

you do know why they say this, if you change it sooner then the engine will last even longer and you will never have to buy other BMW just kidding.

you should let the BMW service center show you the oil after 25000km you will not like it at all.
after seeing it you will think twice on changing the oil at there computer rate.
the funny thing is I was talking to the mechanics at BMW and on the side the guy told me dont go buy the computer to change oil do it at 10k or less

KC said this when he got is BMW too and now he changes sooner than the computer says or KC you still do it at 20000 each time
after doing a lot of research on this topic, I am actually quite happy to follow bmws service recommendation, the important thing is the oil must have the bmw ll01 certification. 1 other thing, oil needs to be changed every 12 months regardless of mileage.

It is very hard to drive super cars such as Murcielago because of the sheer power despite it being 4wd.
I for got these cars apart from Porsche can not go up there, if they push it they will crash it at TMS.
TMS is like a short version of Nürburgring.
Porsches are the easy to drive day to day when not pushed that is why you will only see woman driving the Porsches and not ferrari and lambo
I always say it is a hair dresser car
sorry et and Will.
