I have 2 cans of paint that will stop the oxidize or rust, but you will need to do aload of prep work before applying the paint.
I have put this on my brake disk and calipers on my last car and also the stepwgn.
the exhaust gas + water vapour turn into acid

i think oxidation spots are not going be a problem, they will just polish it
and paint it with something, as it doesn't affect the performance and is hidden underneath.....
hmm did they use crappier materials on the lci 16 inch edition????????

but Hubs, well i have seen rusty hubs on Hondas and a lot of cars, it's a part which is of no special techno development etc,. and sometime ago in 1004 on Audis, who were taken to court
well Dah chong were, and they refuted the claims.
the hub weighs a lot, or is supposed to so the bearings go round quicker?
