I have the same experience during the first few cold start. I think it's happening on the LCI E60s (new transmission).

wnshie, have you considered the x5, I test drove one last week. its handles just like any bimmer. imo, in standard stock form, its drives better than the e60 (sorry folks) w lots of space for the family. worth considering, they are going cheap b4 the facelift.
He whats the newest thing and not the old stuff like me
the F10 base on the 7er will be bigger than X5 at the back for the kids to play around just like the 5GT
