AC_S5, you must have over-estimated me... of course money is an issue! Althought I do think the M5 mirrors are more sophisticated and practical, but $8680 difference is really difficult to justify. Anyway, I still have a bit more time to decide.

[QUOTE=AC_S5;216653]Both mirrors looks good IMO but the OEM mirrors have dimming and folding function which I think win my case. I don't think money is an issue to AhJai, he just wants the looks, I would good for looks and practicality.

I think $300K for 130i will be impossible.
Audi A3 2.0T sportback is around $340K and the top-of-the-line A3 3.2T quattro is at a whopping $499K!!!! The 3.2 and 130i is in the same class, so I think if BMWHK do import the 130i (unlikely), it will just under cut the 330i but a tiny margin, say $400K to $450K. On the other hand, the 120i will be around $300K IMO...

For the 130i, it would be a good deal at $300K since the Mini convertible is close to that amt. And I dont think they will price it too close to the entry level 3 series. On the other hand, it's likely they'll omit the 130i and import the lesser models and still price it close to $300K for a windfall profit.

Haha.. hey AhJai, every rich guy say they are poor, you know the difference between appearance and fact. Well for me buying a new car is difficult to justify because of the depreciation but we do it anyways because men with cars is just a feeling thing, there is little or no logic in it I say little logic because we have an E60, otherwise I would go for a Japanese car or a MB right? IMO the M5 mirror is a better choice, don't know if OEM is another factor that I factor into consideration.

300k is only an rough estimates, didn't do any research though since I am no buying one soon. If the A3 is 499K than the hell with it, I don't need a VW that's that expensive. I am happy with my 523 although it is slower.

Yeah no one reply to other post except these one but I must admit I like it too

Asian is good but only limited to South east Asians.

Folks,

Before I go and pick up the car next week, should I insist on getting the latest CIP (i.e. version 20) installed? Who should I talk to? Thanks

Oh wow, I just realize, u got your new wheels before u take delivery of your car...haha. It reminds me of my college days when I bought my VCR before I had a TV....LOL.

I suppose it would be nice to hv the latest software. I think they assign u a service rep upon delivery of your new car if u hvn't already hv one. Talk to him I suppose?

Congrats to new car. What a great New Year present
