you didnt shift down a couple of gears?

something similar happened to me, a mb XX amg overtook me on the flyover outside aberdeen tunnel on the causeway bay side. I though why not have a bit of fun and stepped on it . the mb braked for the fast left hander, as a result, I caught up, what a chicken.
Yes i did, i shifted to 2nd gear in manual mode and floor it, but that 1.8 turbo still able to pull away from me about 2 cars length. damn it!
That Audi driver must think his 1.8 can beat bmw 3.0, i am gutted

I wont play with the amg though, cos i've driven them and they are really fast on the straight line, although still no match with Mike's GTR

its all in the mind and skill mate. when mansell was driving for mclaren, he was on full throttle longer than his team mate, if memory serves hakkinen and yet slower lap time.

Very true!
For us, FF = understeering and will crash straight to a tree at the end
For the pros, they can balance out the throttle and the grip and turn it into art

Same here! He was slowed down by a car in the front and i was trying to drive side by side and see his fxxk face,
But he immediately floor it again.

Having said that, i am sure you will be impressed with audi's 2.0T engine, i got to say it is fast for a 2.0 liters!!
