Dear Samuel
You are correct the RON of Super Unleaded and V Power is the same. There differences are the additives dosage. V Power has higher additives dosage. The additives mainly help to keep your engine clean and thus can maintain the performance of your vehicle. The higher dosage of V Power has a better ability to keep your engine clean.
Hope this is clear.
Best regards

Hi,
I'm a driver in Hong Kong and a shell card holder, can you tell me what is the difference between Super-unleaded fuel and V-Power, to my understand both are RON 98 fuel. What do I get for paying a premium for V-Power? Do you have any data to show that V-Power is more economical or perform better then Super Unleaded.
Thanks
Samuel Liu

Its up to you to decide whether the extra HK$1.1 per litre premium is worth it

How about fuel of Caltax, I use Platinum. Never use other brand because the friend who brought my car put Esso in and the car have slower respone according to him. Different engine might be suited to different fuel. But one thing for sure cleaner engine = better performance in the long run.

Hey guys
I was in macau this week and holy crap, there are so many new BMW 7 and 5 series on the street (mostly ti grey). They're all cars for the Asian Games. I think there'll be a huge sale coming up for slightly used 7s and 5s at a good discount Btw, the 5s are 530i's, I suppose Macau is really having it good with the booming economy
