given HK/Asia doesn't appreciate the value the human effort, jobs like detailings will not be a premium as in Europe and US. You guys seen that GBP5000 detailing job in UK before right? very difficult to have that in HK.
Very true, i think detailing is different forms of art (In my point of view of cos)
It requires loads of patient and efforts, some detailers in Europe not only making your car spotless, they aim to achieve better than brand new.

ET stated out the fact that not many ppl in HK would appreciate these kind of human efforts, they just want it quick, fast....and cheap

But i do believe we have these kind of ppl in HK as you can see many supercars/classic cars in here, we will need to educate them and tell them what we are doing and why we will charge so highl.

Unless you plan do the work yourself, hiring people who detail as good as you will be hardest.

detailing certainly is an art to certain extent, just like hair styling or so. the sad reality for most business like this in HK is that rent is not cheap and fix running cost is high as a must. ppl needa get business done in a fast fashion to make a living... I guess detailing super cars at owners site might be a good idea. no rent for detailer, also customers don't need to worry about detailer having fun with their car.
