Good idea wor !! haha, and I'll be saving $7k since BMWHK told me the price for the ACS exhaust is aruond $12k Besides, both gf366 and I hated the new figure "8" look of the ACS exhaust tip. I prefer the old oval tip.

Or better yet just buy the oval style exhaust tip and fit it over your stock pipe, no one will notice, than you save more money. Let's see if that will work.

But I brought this book and they have the picture of the Remus pipe but it doesn't look much different from the stock pipe.? Maybe that's why they are charging $5000 for it.

I see Remus' mostly on VWs. That's why Im surprised they make one for the E60. Remus pipes are usually quite loud, if I remember right. It'll be nice if somehow we can find a sound clip. So far I have heard only the Eisenmann, which sounded really good.

AC Schnitzer's mufflers are made by Remus, or at least used to. Supersprint makes/made Hamann's exhausts.

Perfectly correct! That's y I'd though Remus is a good alternative for ACS, if one don't want to spend as much!

Oh !? Thx for the info alpineweiss, I didn't know that.? ACS's authorized distributor in HK is BMWHK.? So it is better to mod with ACS parts because BMWHK will provide warranty for the work along with the original BMW warranties.? The downside is their high price tags because well, it is BMWHK....

Well... My warranty is going to expire pretty soon, and still have made up my mind of extending it or not...

So, I don't put "void my warranty" under my mod list anymore...

ACS is always one of the best choice for Bimmer's mods, if there's just too much "spare changes" in your pockets!

You misunderstand me, when I said the front I meant the windshield.

You said your tints is 20% so does that mean the visibility is 80%?

Not sure how its rated in HK but here.. 20% means only 20% of light can pass through that film and into the car... meaning 80% of it is blocked out... thats why its so dark.

Yes, I think $3400 from BMW HK plus installation...

I think you can also buy it somewhere else outside BMW for around $2800...
