need your honest opinion...looking to get a 530i but not sure which year? favoring 05 due to price but 06 and up has the different motor...

so I need some feedback on these cars and tell me what you think....this will be my daily driven car, I like to consider myself still young 35 and do enjoy an occasional twisties up the mountains....

I just got of a 2003 e46 Zhp...so I know there's going to be a big difference....

thanks in advance! Alan

only the engine changes... everything else is the same (exterior and interior wise). only the options change but those are specific to the car you're looking to buy.

i had an 04 530 without any options, NONE (not even CPO) .

then i got my 05 530 which is CPO and has bluetooth, cd-changer, sport package etc for the same price as my 04... there're 06's and newer that dont have any of that so if you ask me its better to get an 05 with some options than an 06 or newer without any options or sport package just because of an extra 30hp. it all depends on what your're looking at and how much you're willing to pay.

another option is an E39 03 540 (orM5), that car will blow the doors off any E60 6 and it will be a collector car. You can find a few well kept gems on the internet. The E60 is entering the twilight years , get a good E39 keep it for 3 years and then trade it for the F10...........IMHO !!

Go with the 04 or 05, especially if it is CPOed. YOu can spend the extra on mods and accessories.
Taxes will be cheaper as well.
