What you guys think?

 

You are taking air from the radiator and you live in Kansas. I don't think this is a good idea, especially during those very very hot summer days.

Well done! I made a similar one a few months ago out of sheet metal. Not sure if mine has done anything except channel water into my airbox when I go through the carwash although I think it added to the intake sound.

Have you noticed any immediate gains in sound/performance?

 

I feel gain on high way on 3rd gear.
