So I was at the mall Saturday night for dinner and came back to my car at about 10:30 and there was a huge dent and about two feet of paint on the driver side back door and guess what...no note. How considerate of the person and then when I got the cops there to write up a report he had the audacity to ask me if I had hit something else and moved it there. I was like look asshole this is my baby and there are cameras everywhere please go look at the tapes and find this dick and let their insurance pay for it.
So hopefully they get some information from the tapes otherwise I am SOL. I will get some pictures up when I get home but I just wanted to vent. So freaking pissed.

Ouch, that sucks man. I had a hit and run in my acura days, same story I was eating at a restaurant and a half ton truck hit me leaving his parking spot. I was lucky enough to have a witness take down that ruck plates for me and came into the restaurant looking for me. GL with insurance and the police hope things work out.

That sucks. Did he say he was going to check the security tapes? I get the feeling that unless the cops can write a ticket on the spot then they don't really care to do the leg work to find people that do this.
One time I clipped a bumper of a car (not an e60 and not with my e60!) I left a note on the car and left a note with the security desk. Guess the guy didn't care about his honda, I never received a call. I'd feel too bad just leaving someone's car like that!

He said he would check but usually when this happens he said they don't leave a note because of bad insurance, warrant, drunk etc. So I will just have to wait and see. Nationwide is great and I?m already in the process of getting it fixed.
I?m happy though that I walked away without a ticket. I have 5% tint all the away around and get quite a few looks from cops but no ticket. So at least that was nice..haha.

Ughhh that sucks man. Hopefully the cameras will find this dick. I try to park in well lit extra large spots near cameras.
