When braking fairly lightly at low speed, I've noticed a scratching (metal on metal) or hissing noise coming from the passenger side. I can only hear it with the passenger window open. i-Drive isn't reporting any faults.

Would i-Drive normally report brake pads that are wearing? If so, does anyone have any other ideas of what could be wrong here?

Brake squeek and other various noises have been discussed at length here. I think we've all had issues with that at one time or another.

Try a quick search of this topic and you will get tons of good info......
