You've been to Flint and you WANT TO COME BACK!?!?!? Are you crazy? Flint is so ghetto it's not even funny. 4th worst city to live in, in the US. Detroit is 2nd on the worst cities to live in too, by the way. Michigan just sucks in general. I think Grand Blanc is about the only decent spot in the whole state. Anyway, that being said, I'll be back there starting next weekend.
I liked Ann Arbour a lot. First of April up front

But I know what you mean, Detroit is a dreadful place, not a city.
And the suburbans are not that nice either.

And yes, I'm a bit crazy, I'm from Finland.
We got homicide rates that makes the city of NY and Detroit heaven.

They used to call me the CrazyFinn in MI...

Yeah, Ann Arbour's not too bad, I've gone to a few parties at U of M and I lived to tell about them, so I guess that's good. I think it was like 2 or 3 years ago my family had a foreign exchange student from Finland, and no offense, but if she was any representation of Finland then you guys are crazy, so I can see the nickname.

Ricracing, check out http://www.gothamdreamcars.com/.

I saw the owner last weekend and he said he'll be getting the M5 soon.

Actually who wants a E60 visiting the US?
The largest Ford/GMC SUV would do the thing also.

It would be nice to meet you guys!
SolanNo1 too.
Absolutely...maybe we can kick start the NoVA E60 lovers' club.

Like in North Virginia?
That would be the drive from NY/NJ - on my way to MI?

But I really would like also to see the North Carolina, too.

Must one drive all the time - I do not think so!

But one thing is for sure, I will never ever visit D.C. anymore.
I have never seen such deepshit slum around a great monumental Downtown.

Only someone from out of town would say that. My friend from Germany went to DC and he said the same thing. You could say the same thing about NYC, LA and loads of other cities in the USA. If you don't know where you are going, just go about 5 blocks the wrong way in many a city and you could be in the slums. DC natives no where to go and where not to go. You need to know these things about every big city you visit in the USA. Be careful.

By the way, I will be renting my first car from mynextcar.com in the DC area in few days time. I drive a BMW E61 here in Taiwan, but when I return home, I will have to settle for a Benz C320. Hey its only US$50 per day too. Sounds too good to be true and I am worried they are all smelling of smoke and falling apart previous wrecked with blood splatter on the ceiling. I hope I am wrong. But for US$50 a day for a Mercedes C320, well that is cheaper than a Volvo XC70 from Hertz's Prestige Collection. I think they have BMWs too, but not at the location I was renting from.

Downtown D.C. is special and very, very nice.

I'm in this way so lucky to live in a 1 milloin pop city where you can
go anywhere at anytime.
