High temp / over heat warning on iDrive screen!

I had this problem 3 times with my 530xi 07'. First time was a crack in the radiator (coolant leakage), second time was the valve connected to the radiator ( same as first), third time was electric fan stop working. One is related to another, just FYI.

i had the same error message come up on my I-drive. Turned out to be the Thermostat. Crazy thing is that I just had the thermostat replaced this past summer and software updated. Nevertheless, the fault code was for the thermosta once again.
The first time, however, i never had any messages on the I-drive.
I also thought its the Water Pump and so did my Service Advisor (SA)
