high or proffesional dvd?

i have a dvd (mk4) CCC
can i use both high & professional nav maps?
if so which is best?
i want to buy 2008/2 edition

will they both work in my mk 4 unit?

If you have the CCC system it's a Professional DVD you'll need. Check this out:

Maybe so but the "high" is a 7 series DVD as far as I know

i thought the ccc was a different unit than the mk4?

am i wrong?

The iDrive cars can only use the Professional navigation DVD, the older MK4 drives (which have the drive in the boot) can only use the High Navigation DVD. The older 7 series in the only exception which is iDrive but uses the High DVD.
