Default High drain battery message pop up

Hi all,
Today I got the "High battery drain" message on my car. About one week ago I have the JL amp and a 2.2 farad installed for the sub that is only the electronics were added on but I did not have any high battery drain msg for the whole last week until today. Let said if the Amp drain so much power and If I disconnect the power to the Amp, will the high drain msg go away or I have to take the car to dealer for reset?

Buy a battery charger and charge the battery - often.

You probably aren't driving for long distances. Driving short distances won't charge the battery fully, especially with the additional load.

I had additional load for like a week, no msg show until today bro. If the battery fully charge, will the msg go away or I have to take the car to dealer for reset the msg?

What I am saying is that the car is not being driven enough for the battery to be charged on it's own (by the alternator). It took some time for the battery to go below a certain threshold for that message to trigger.

Yes, that message should go away when the battery is fully charged.

I see, from my home to work place about 9miles one way. Maybe it's not enough time to fully charge the battery? What charger should you recommend? I found one on Amazon with a lot good reviews (
Battery Tender 021-0128 Battery Tender Plus 12V Battery Charger : Amazon.com : Automotive Battery Tender 021-0128 Battery Tender Plus 12V Battery Charger : Amazon.com : Automotive

If you play music in your car without the car running it will drain the battery very fast. I get that message if i play music without the car running and i have the L7 system. I just start the car and set the clock and drive it. Message goes away once the battery is back to normal. You should look into installing a second battery for your amp so it doesnt put to much strain on your current battery.

I have only one Amp ( JL 500/1 ) should not take that much power. Second battery needed when running more thang 3 Amps or so.

Ok, just a suggestion. The car pulls a lot of juice even when it is not running. The car is always "thinking"

That is the one to get. Yours might be an AMG type battery and the Battery Tender PLUS works well with this type. Driving 9 miles is not enough to keep these batteries charged. LCI E60s employ "Efficient dynamics" and do most of the charging during deceleration and braking. You could be easily cruising 100 miles with little charging of the battery happening.

How old is ur battery ? if its older than 3 yrs it might b getting near to its lifes end and could be loosing its ability to hold a charge.. Even if u put a charger overnite ( which is good idea ) you may still get a battery drain msg,,, Im running two amps,, My garage queen sits in the garage all week,,, and i have no issues with battery drain.. So its pssible u might need a new battery sometime soon ,,
