My Ride: The UDM
So I bought a set of low beam 55W HID's H7 for my 05 530i. Turned out it D2S bulb type :thumbsdown: Anyway, the guy at the shop told me it wont improve much. Has anyone changed their stock HID's for aftermarket 6k HID ? Is it worth it ? I want whiter colour and brighter light.

The guy at the shop was wrong, 55W HID improve light output about 15-20% depending on the color. 4300K-5000K is the brightest setup. Also 55W ballast wash out color, so 6000K at 55W look like 4300K at 35W (stock). So if you don't want color go with 4300K or 5000K.
