Hibernation for the Winter
It's that time of year (WINTER) for me in the Northeast (NJ) when my 545i will go into hibernation for the winter (garage).
I am planning on doing the following and want to make sure I am not missing anything:
1) Get the car detail (wax).
2) Buy a battery charger/monitor (Battery Tendor plus).
3) Fill the tank with gas (avoids condensation in gas tank)
4) Car cover of course.
Questions:
Should I add fuel stabilizer.
Should I buy those tire devices which protects your tires from getting a "dead spot", meaning tire damaged for standing in one spot for an extended length of time.
Thanks in advance for any help!

That should be more than adequate for about 90 days. I assume you will wake her up my March.

[/quote]It's my understanding the battery can drain real low even if it's disconnected due to the cold.

I would agree with you if I was living in sunny Miami

It can get into the low 20's. The garage is attached to the house but not access from within the house.
