What is the story about Fuel Injection cleaner additives?
I have seen these at the auto store.? The directions say to add them to a full tank of gas, to clean the deposits in the injectors.? Do these chemicals work?? Is it a good idea to use a bottle every few thousand miles?

As I recall when I RTFM, its says something like "NEVER USE any gas additive fuel injection cleaner". Or something like that. Perhaps its because those things are typically made out of wood alchohol??

I was at the parts dept. at the BMW dealer today.
They were selling fuel additive. It was BMW brand fuel injection cleaner. If they're selling it from BMW, should it be safe to use?
