you found a great forum here for the 5 series - especially for mods and DIY.

If you really want to learn about power upgrades, all that info is still best found in the 335 series boards because they have the exact same engine and lots more modders.

Cheers!

thank you all.
i'm not looking for huge power, that's what the supra is for
i just wanted to do a couple of simple things like intake and full cat back exhaust. then i saw burger tunings site and their JB2, JB+ and JB4 and that got me thinking. they claim 30-40whp with the JB2 for only $99 and that's not bad no matter what you drive.
i just want to make more power but keep it reliable and simple. like i said, its my dads car so i don't want to install anything that he might have problems with later.

just one question tho, how strong are these transmissions? this car has the "auto stick" not sure if that's the steptronic or sequential.

thanks

i my self have a 94 toyota supra and have been a toyota tech for 9 years.
Welcome. Fellow (ex) 95 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo here. Loved that thing but sold it after 3 months. The manual gearbox really bugged me. Should have got an auto. Here's my favourite pic I took of my Supra. It hit the speed limiter always at 170mph (indicated speed).

You wont have any problems with transmission or engine internals as far as extra power goes with this car. Lots of big power guys in the 335s with stock transmissions and very few problems.
