It's possible to change my gear knob with the facelift "joystick" (gear knob), on my BMW (E 60 535D 2005 auto, non-facelift)? Thank's!

should be just fine. It is not a direct plug and play. There is an additional harness that you need to purchase in order to mate the original wiring to the new knob. Plenty of members have done it before.

It's pretty pricey, but if you got the $$ go for it.

I think total cost will be roughly 600 bucks. More or less

Here says that is plug in from what I understand ... but not sure if it's for my car in 2005.
Will ask a little help from those who have done, or better understand .. Thank's

Isn't your car mechanical linkage for the shifter?



This shifter is all electronic - like a computer joystick.

you can change the knob, but not the whole shifter assembly, since the lci cars are electrically shifted, versus manually on your car.
