My Ride: Black BMW 525i Touring
Angry

A few weeks ago we were planning to a city trip somewhere in Europe. I conviced my wife that Muncih is a nice and vibrant city full of stunning architechture and great shopping. Ofcourse I wanted to visit the BMW Museum and BMW Welt but knew that that was not going to convice her..

I was working very late to finish my work so i'd be ready for our trip. My wife wanted to buy some food for our 700km Autobahn trip.

Then she called me.. crying.. "I did something stupid...". She ran the beamer with 50 km/h over a pavement! Right against the curb!

Two tyres flat. Wheels damaged beyond repair. No visible damge to the suspension and stuff but you can only check at the dealer. This all happend at 9pm and we where planning to leave the next morning at 5am.

Canceled the whole trip. Had the car towed away and spend my whole next day I took free from work having the car fixed and mounting the winter wheels etc.

Now I need two new wheels of my beautiful Style 122 18" replica's. Whichever wheelshop I tried; not available. Apperantly all Italian replica manufacturers have gone bankrupt!. I checked ebay and other sites; non offered. BMW only has 122 in 17" ; not big enough. Other wheels; non are so nice as the 122 (only the 167 but then I need M package as well (major $$$).

So here is my question to the e60 community; Anybody knows a shop that has 2(!) 18" 122's for sale??
All help is welcome!

Thanks, Midget.

Oh by the way my wife and I are still together

Sounds like she hit a curb pretty hard and took out two wheels/tires in the process. Sorry to hear that.

EDIT: What he said! I'm too slow.

But in the US she would still end up with 2 of the 4 wheels right ?
I remember Eddy Murphy once explained how that works when possesions are to be split up....
