hi folks

As mentioned in the topic its about the wheels. I have got 520D m sport 57 Reg which has mv2 alloys(18") which are factory standard in m sport, now i wanna upgrade them with 172s (19") with wider rears. so the question is that is it gonna be a simple straight swap or does it need some sort of modification. i have seen some 520D in 172s at the dealers. second question is that is it gonna effect my insurance in any way as when buying a policy you are asked about the modification in the vehicle from standard. I hope the members in the Uk would be able to answer my questions as 520D only available in the UK or europe. Thanks in advance

Kind Regards
Azhar

Let your insurance company know, just in case.

Stress that they are OEM standard wheels fitted as an option and your premium should not change.

thanks Anzafin for the advice an other thing which is playing up in my mind is that are 172s gonna rub in the wheel arches cos sometimes when like 4 or 5 people in the car the car tends to sit below its normal position. thanks in advance
