Water leaks into the car when the doors are opened/closed. The issue is present on both the rear doors (driver and passenger). It looks like water is building up in the top of the door trim. The car was at the dealership for 3 days and the service dept ended up saying it "was a common bmw design flaw" and couldnt fix the issue. below are a few pics of the issue. Any advice??

Thanks.

the car is at 48,500 miles. the bumper to bumper warranty expires at 50,000. The dealership already said the seals will not be covered after 50,000 miles. By the way, the vehicle is CPO. Should I argue with the dealership to replaced the door seals?

I would definitely have them replace it. At 48000 and they tell you it cant be fixed. Well give me one that doesnt have the problem then. LOL. Get it fixed that way if it happens again after the warranty you are covered

The vapor barriers need to be resealed. I've used 3M - Window weld. Works like a charm.

Sorry, I couldn't see the pics on my handheld, it's not the vapor barrier - I stand corrected. Thanks NoQuarter.
