Hi all I took my 06 525I to the stealership today to have a warning light checked. I'm getting a yellow light that says (Right front parking light malfunction). I can turn lights on and all is working and the warning light goes out. The stealership ran same on their computer and after 130.00 told me nothing was showing up in the codes. They said it may be the right side halo light going bad but not sure. I had to remove the security alarm fuse because the alarm would start going off for no reason. When I would get in the car and start it the warning light would come on . Does anyone have any idea what would cause this. Thanks Dennis

Try this.
Sit in car, rotate light switch to fully to the right.
Then put key in ignition and start engine.
Then switch lights off.

Any difference?

Hi Sanj, the car was serviced two weeks ago.

Is what you’re saying about turning the light switch on and then cranking the car did not make a difference.

Im still get the intermittent “transmission “ warning dash signal which puts the car into limp mode or doesn’t start at all
