help w weird surging noise at start
hello there,
I've been having a really weird surging noise at engine start, usually goes away after the engine warms up, but is really disturbing, engine kicking and car shaking. this is NOT the rough idle, as there are no error codes showing up. (I did change out the cylinder 4 misfire error, changing all the spark plugs and one ignition coil, which corrected the error.)
also, I have been having the dreaded alternator gasket oil leak, and maybe even the voltage regulator issue, so I'm planning to change out the gasket and alternator anyway. (twice I had the dashboard light up, and the car die while driving, unable to start even though the engine started without problem just 5 minutes before.) but, I can't tell if this weird surging is related to these issues.

Any help would be appreciated! Many thanks in advance,
Mike
