My Ride: 2008 535xi
To rename your USB stick.
1) Open Windows Explorer
2) Tap on the USB drive's current name
3) On the pop out menu scroll down to and right click on Properties
4) The Properties tab shows the current Name, delete this and type in the new name
5) Click on Apply, then click on OK
You should be able to see the new name in Windows Explorer.
