Howdy folks,
I've looked around the forums and there seem to be a few different issues related to the trunk not opening.
Here's mine.
I can open the trunk using the physical key, but not the key fob, or the button under the driver's panel.
I also noticed that the center button on the dash to unlock and lock the doors is also not working.

It can only be two things
The solinoid in your boot that operates the switch or a fuse
Always start with the easiest solution first
check that the fuse is okay by finding the correct one
If you are unsure where to look, open your boot (with a key for you at the moment) and lower the tool box flap
you will now see all the fuses and their numbers
so have a look for the correct fuse which will be either above your battery (remove the right hand inner boot cover) or in your glove box.
If your fuse is okay you need to pull your boot cover off and check you are getting power to your solidoid.
If you are then you simply need to get another and exchange it
Im not home so I cant take a picture of the correct fuse for you but I will be tomorrow if you need any more help or info

Can also be the wires following the trunk swivel arm leading to the latching mechanism, especially the brown (ground) wire. Common problem.

If the central locking button doesn't unlock the front doors, that needs to be fixed first. That may be the problem. I'd start there first.
