I have a 08 535i and the other day while driving it, it started shaking really violently, I stopped and shut it down. When I started it back up and put it in gear it would violently shake the car in drive and reverse. In park and neutral it would idle fine, no DTCs and the transmission fault warning didn't come on either. No CEL either. Any ideas where to start.
Transmission was replaced 200 miles ago with a know good transmission​ out of another 2008 535i.

 

did you reset adaptions after swapping the trans?
id check trans fluid level also, can act up with too much or not enough

 

check your engine and transmission mounts.

 

Adaptions where reset, I was thinking of fluid as well, I was goig to start there after I get out of work today, while I'm down there I'm going to check all the mounts and driveshaft just to reverify everything is still G2G
