Help!! Recived a Transmission Fault message on I Drive

Your right it's a fuel pump issue....taking it to BMW now, guess I'm stuck with the $1000 charge as the shop is insisting the mass air meter was bad. Anyways, god knows how much BMW will charge for the fuel pressure issue.

When doing a job at an Indy, always ask for the bad part back. This covers two things. 1, you know they actually replaced it and not simply charged for something they didn't do (this is a problem with Jensen as I learnt in a 60 minutes special) and 2) also in a situation like this, you can simply request to return the part. And maybe get back your money on the part less a restocking fee. The $400+ in labor would obviously be lost.
