Question

Hey guys,
OK, that's going to sound pretty stupid. I was messing with the door latch a few minutes ago and now it is stuck.
At this point I can't close the door at all. What to do? Do I need to go to the dealer or can I fix it somehow?
I can't believe myself I have a meeting at 8:00am tomorrow...should I arrange a ride?

Did you try using your remote to unlock the doors... ?

You just locked it manually the same way the door locks when it hits the knob on the inner panel.

See what happens when you mess with things... Bring it to the dealer and get it fixed... and getting a ride to your meeting would be a good idea

Here's what to do:

Take something like a screwdriver and put it in the area circled in the following photo:

Help!!! problem with the door latch-post_3618_1152760495.jpg

While the screwdriver is in the hole, pull up on the door handle (as if you are trying to open the closed door). While you are pulling up on the handle, slide the screwdriver in the direction of the arrow indicated on the photo and the latch should release...
