Hello thank you for taking the time to read my post i really need your guys help i drive a 2008 bmw 535i the other day i was driving to work no problems turned off the car turned it back on and then the abs, check engine light, and the steering wheel light went on the read brake light has been on for a while did not know how to reset the light after i changed the brakes few months back but the car went into limp mode would not let medrive few feet before stopping lcd screen shut off electricty for windows wouldnt work unless the car was half on got it towed reset the lights but the car revs on its own i changed the battery with lnterstate battery DID NOT know i had to get it reprogrammed could this be the issue? i also have not changed the transmission fluid and i am at 125k brake pads are low too i believe
there is some lag while downshifting but i thought it had been turbo lag been driving in sport mode lately and after i changed my tires everytime i turned off dynamic ttraction control it said dsc limited
also most of electrical issues have been popping up over the few months my daytime running lamps my reverse lights lcd restarts sometimes

Could be DSC or it could be the alternator. I would check the alternator first it very well could be the voltage regulator going out on the alternator
