Does the car have a fuel shutoff anywhere? I was told the fuel pump does not go out that easy. Could it have activated something from removing body panels or anything?

how can u tell the fuel pump is bad by taking out the rear seat?? which side is it on?
i've taen mine out and all i see are cables running on the passenger side going to the trunk...

i had the same problem over the weekend...w/the exception that my car wouldn't crank...after a few times of trying it started, and after a while a bunch of lights came up on the idrive...tranny fault (in red color), increased emisisons (yellow), and drive control sys (yellow) and check engine light was on....after a while everything was back to normal and no more check enging light. Still is so i dunno WTF!

You have to geta tester and see if the pump is getting power. But that dosent mean for sure the pump is out. Best way to do it is to check the fuel pressure but I dont know how to do that on this car.
