Smile Help Needed: about E60 engine N52B25

AS we know there are two types of engine of E60 2008.They are N52B25BE and N52B25BF with different power (130KW and 160KW).
Anybody can teach me, what is the difference of them on hardwear? Is it possible to modify a BE to 160KW?

I know intake manifold is different between the two. I'd say, the corresponding DISA valve, throttlebody, etc.

I'd say it's possible to modify; the question is what components need to be changed/upgraded to accomodate additional power. I am not sure if the fuel injectors are the same for those two variations of engine.

At minimum, intake manifold, engine harness to the DISA valves and various connections on the intake manifold, software upgrade.

Thanks very much.
And do you know how to get the detail information about the modification needed for this job?

Hello. I want to upgrade my 2006 525i as well.
But i have the N52B25AF engine.

Any body know what the dif is betwn mine and the BF and BE models?
I read alot of info on the 2.5 vs 3.0 sizes but still cant fig out if mine is an 2.5 or a 3.0 downtuned.

It seems some of the N52's are not 3.0 upgradable.
