Default Help needed

HELP HELP HELP Bought e60 520d 2007 177bhp in July this yr. all was goin wel til 5 days ago. Lost power gone into limp mode... 5 faults.. Aft bit of research dpf fault. Got it dun 2day 4 £450 including re-map Mechanic rang. Car starts but runnin like a dog.. fault left code 4AE5 = 0 capacity of injector cylinder 2.. Where do I go from ere? mechanic said don't know much about BMW s said he ring bak.. Stil waitin ... So £450 outa pocket an no car

Zero-quantity calibration, injector, cylinder 2... bad injector or clogged?
surprised your mechanic doesnt know either lol.

you could always swap the injector to a different cylinder and reset the code and reread them and see if it follows the cylinder.

Ok Thanx pal... Mechanic sent off injector 2 c if knackerd? Do u recommend buyin a used 1 ie eBay? Got the part no.... Only give the car 2 him 4 the dpf an remap!!!!! But now I can't drive the car 2 BMW specialist.... Who do I trust?? In north west burnley/ Blackburn???? Thanx

I couldn't tell you, I read my own codes and then try to diagnose it myself. If I am at a total loss I'll give in and take it to a mechanic. I at least try to get a good idea of what the problem might be before taking it to a mechanic if I have to that way I don't get ripped off. Nothing much you can do now since he's already pulled the parts off the car, just hope hes an honest guy lol.
