Just wanted to know if anyone on this forum could help me understand what is going on I just pulled up at a 7/11 to buy smokes and when I jumped back in the car it won't start not getting anything I have checked battery that seams to be working fine .BMW assist came out he checked few things really they don't look like they know what they r doing but anyway he spent 5 min on car and has put it down as the immobiliser so had to get it towed home wondering what do I need to do if it is that to rectify the problem I have the cable and inpa on my laptop would that work and if so how do I go about it

yea I have but still no start the only difference is that with the spear key I get music when I go to start the engine but with mine I don't

Did you step on the brake pedal when you turn the ignition key?

Is the brake light on when you put the key in or pull the emergency brake handle?

I think I read something about a power relay, located in the fuse box near the battery in the trunk. I think the color is beige. Google power relay for your car and see if that could be the problem.
