Exclamation HELP! Need some insight on a sudden loss of oil *NOT A NEWBIE*

Hey gents

So 3 days ago I start my 2008 550i and head to the city(NYC) for a date night after a day of running errands and driving my car. I get to the city and smell oil. I immediately pop the hood only to notice many spots on the floor. Fresh oil appeared to be leaking at an alarming rate from the driver's side on the engine bay. After realizing the car had no oil I had it towed. Upon coming back home I noticed many spots on the floor where I was parked all fresh and one HUGE spot from when I started the car and moved it up 5 feet so my girlfriend could get in(tree blocked the door). Mechanic says the car isnt holding oil at all, he poured in a quart and it all came back out according to him.

Now my question is what could this be??? I had no major leaks prior to this only the timing chain covers which I already accounted for. I also hadn't bottomed all day or anytime before that for that matter(car is lowered). I've hrd about the alternator bracket?? But do they just leak suddenly? Car has 92k miles. I've attached a video and pics of the underside of the car. This is all I have until the subframe is dropped...TIA!
