Got, ACS Roof Spoiler, but not installed..
the new X3 does look nice...i hated it when it first came out but the face lift does look good... driven the as a loaner and really pushed it... it understears alot so dont expect it to be a drivers car..
the 5 is do for a facelift next year so are you ok with geting a car that might look a bit outdated in a year..
The most Important thing is... do you need AWD (4x4), If you do i think its the X3 for sure...

Unless you go off road , take the 5. It's double the quality of the X3 (even 50% better than an 3 series) in driving and comfort. You will be disappointed in an X3 if you compare it with your 545. Ever slammed the door of an X3? the 5 series doors are like a safe, the X3 doors sounds like a Coke can.

I would go with the 530xiT. Better handling and is much more attractive IMO. Another plus is there are not as many on the road, at least where I live. Lots of 5 Series sedans and X3's, but the E61 really stands out when you see one on the road.

No final decision yet, trying to find a suitably-equipped E61 that can be delivered in near future. If we do, we'll be going for the touring. Thanks for all the input.
