So I'm looking to get a new plate again. As you know I have E60. Well I ordered the plate, and as soon as I receieved the plate, many commented out, "Does your plate say EGO?". So almost everyone who sees it asks that, and I'm tired of explaining what E60 means. So I plan on ordering another plate. I don't have anything in particular, I just don't want it to have a double meaning that I am not aware of before I order it.

I was talking with macfly earlier and he thought of some.
CLEAN 5 (Maybe some would think I'm a cleaning guy?...lol)
SWT BMR
CLN BMR

Any suggestions?

Theres a max of 6 letters in texas.

I used this on my previous car...US E60. If that's taken...USA E60...or in your case TX E60. I still like the ambiguity of E60...just say it's a BMW in-house designation.

I would definitely avoid E60, it's simply not a commonly known thing that our cars are called E60s. You don't even see it in the BMW brochures for the car. The only reason the number exists is so that the BMW dealers can differentiate between different releases of the car. The first time I found it it was an E60 was about a week before I bought the car, and I'm a car guy. I knew E39, E34, E32 and E36 because I'd owned them all. I still have no idea what the E codes are for the current 1, 3, 6, 7, X and Z cars are.

I don't see the desire to use the word clean (or any of it's shortened variants) either. What if it's dirty? You'll get people writing with their finger on the bumper "it ain't all that clean today buddy". Personally I'd go for something with BMW in it, or your model number. I have 545 as part of my number.

+1.

I just used a number which really has no meaning. ***-9888. I like the number and had it for over 10 years now.

cheers
