I tried to use the max a/c button to try it out....just got the car and playing around.....and it doesnt work...does the a/c button need to be on too or will it not work if the temp outside is too cold? can someone help explain.

I use this quite a lot at the start of a journey on a warm day until I'm cool enough then I stick it back on Auto. Useful feature as I don't think the E60 A/C compressor blasts out cold air as soon as other makes do after starting the engine and so this just accerates the process a little.

nevermind...it works in the garage but the temp is about 42f. I guess it automatically senses the outside temp and wont work if its too cold outside. makes sense i guess
