Hey...
I am getting a 535d but wanted to know how that M pack is.
I always enjoyed the comfort in the BMWs, thinking about getting the M pack now.
How is that?
is it VERY hard? does the driving comfort suffer from the m pack?
I'm afraid that the suspensions might be TOO hard... though I like sports driving but also enjoy nice comfort when driving on the autobahn (motorway)
Please help me with my decision.
Thanks in advance...

Which country are you in?
I have sports suspension and 18" alloys on my 530d. I had a "loan" 530d on standard suspension with 17" alloys for 2 weeks last October whilst my car was off the road for a replacement engine being fitted following a throttle assembly failure.
There was no noticeable difference in ride comfort with the standard suspension, which surprised me, but the standard car was noticeably less adept at handling corners smoothly when driven hard. It is less stable and leans a lot more which affects your confidence in its abilities to a degree.
I'd say go for the M sport pack. It's a no brainer in my book and makes the car look much more attractive.

My Ride: 2005 530d Sport - HUD,SatNavPro, Bluetooth, black dakota leather, Titanium Silver, Automatic, 6-Disc CD, Auto AirCon,
I've had both a 530d SE and a 530d Sport and given the choice I would take the Sport everytime. The lowered suspension doesn't make that much difference to the ride quality but the car feels much more composed and 'stuck' to the road particularly on bends where it doesn't lean so much. Both cars had 18" runflats so it wasn't just due to the wheels and tyres.
Also the SPort bodykit makes the car look so much better and I prefer the sports seats over the standard seats as well.
All in all it a no-brainer!
