i just had my bumper repainted, and needed to install the covers myself. they just snap into the lever at the bottom. there should be 2 clip things at the back of the cover (the colored/primed piece), which will slide in the lever (which should be in the bumper already if those didnt get broken/stolen). Sorry if you don't understand me, if you need more assistance just reply to the post below

(this is the primed color piece, which should clip into the lever, which should already visible on the bumper if not stolen/broken)

(this is the lever, from which you should only be able to see the top part that has a solid black piece with long slits, which is were the headlight cover clips should go into and lock into place)
