hi, i cant ask BMW as its a retro fit.

the interior trim..dash and door strips are a dark black/grey and look like vertical stripes
do you know if its maple or poplar?

as i need to order the trim that sits below the CCC drive (where my heated seat buttons are)

thank you for your time.

Mapple trim is grey and poplar is light brown or dark brown(but not really dark) depending if its light or dark poplar.

You can see the differences here http://www.e60.net/information/options/int...r/black_dakota/.

i used to have the bamboo but chainged it for the black trim i have now, im sure its maple schwartz
i have upgraded the nav to profesional, and as a result of that i needed the peice of trim that houses my heated seat buttons, because on the business nav it just has a cubby hole there, and pro nav unit is twice as deep.
