Come on guys, someone must have access to this.
I've got all the equipment and am ready to go. Just need the instructins.
If someone sends this, I'll promise to put up a DIY guide for future retrofitters.

Hi Bob, Thanks very much for your response.
This is a useful document and will no doubt help me half of the way.
However, I was more concerned about whats needed to fit the adaptive part of the headlights, which this unfortunately hasn't got.
It's the document at the end of the list here:
http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/63120412059/#set
Its part no. 01 29 0 412 104
Have you or anyone else got this? It would be a first, as I can't see anyone that has retrofitted Adaptive Bi-Xenon Headlights on these forums.

ive been struggling to find info on this to but am determined too, ive got a set of headlights with ballasts but not adaptive control units were they should be, apart from reading on here about the open the lamp and rewire option, ive come across no company confident to do this or knowledgeable about it.
ive been told by one frien to fit the lamps then take the car in to a specialist to code the lights to the car, then possibly also get a new lcm if the car rejects that, thing is i bought the lights of ebay about 1 year ago and dont even know if they work to make things worse.......
im considering fitting the lights without the adaptive function
if u find anything out pls let me know...
good luck

Hiya qaiser and barton.
I went into my local stealer to get a ?9 belt tensioner cable and noticed there was a new guy in the parts department. So I thought I'd try my luck. Once I had bought the item, I said to him "By the way, I need some instructions, could you pull them off your system, they should be on ASAP system, with this part no.........".
The guy took the bait and I walked out of there with the Full E60 Pre LCI Adaptive Xenon Retrofit Kit Instructions.
I'll scan and post them here tomorrow. Having a quick breeze through them. If, like me, you have the full headlight with ballasts, control units etc. + LCM, then all you will need is a new lights wiring harness ($53), load and height sensor ($80 each) and a few brackets ($2-8) and you'll be in a position to carry out the retrofit.
It looks quite straight forward. Theres only two areas where I feel it may take a little time. One is threading the new wiring harness throughout the car and the second is hooking one of the load sensors onto a bracket onto what looks like the front right wheel arm thingies.
All in all this pre-lci adaptives to pre lci car retrofit is fully steam ahead.

Even though it would have been nice to get the LCI headlights, but finding the above in LCI was like rocking horse $hit. And then trying to get the xenons and adaptive going would have been a nightmare.
So, just for the sake of some plastic looking lines on one side of the headlight and on light chamber being slightly more forward then the other I'd rather have fully working Adaptive Bi-Xenons.
I'd recommend you guys do the same.
However, maybe we can blend this retrofit with the cross wiring of the new LCI lights. Maybe, if you get the wiring harness for the new LCI lights, then everything else falls into place.
In regards to programming, what I'm doing is fitting about 5 different mods/retrofits onto my car and then getting an independent garage in London to reprogramme the whole thing in one shot (?100) rather than have to revisit, which kinda saves me money in the long run.
