HELP: How did stealer reset FTM message?

Last night while driving on the freeway, FTM suddenly alerted that I had a flat tire. I pulled over but did not see any apparent signs of a flat tire. When I got home, I checked using an accurate tire gauge and one of my tires was 10 PSI low. I drove to the service station and inflated it (using my accurate tire gauge to measure PSI), but the FTM message did not go away.
This morning I decided to call the stealer and they told me that you cannot clear the FTM message yourself. I would have to bring my car in. I went right over and the service manager checked and my car was like 1 PSI off of what he filled it to. I then saw him get into the car and finagle with my remote and magically the message disappeared. I didn't really watch him close enough to see what he did.
Does anyone know what magic trick he did to clear the FTM "flat tire!" message. I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance

my independent dealer swore i could do it thru i-drive. he said there is an option in the FTM menu that says "Reset".

I have a 2005 545i with run flats and mine has it. Since you got the FTM alert message I am sure you have i too.
If you press down on the Idrive knob, go to "Vehicle settings" and then select "FTM" from the top menu.

I have been in the FTM menu repeatedly and there is no "Reset" option.
I initially calibrated the dang thing no problem.
I was just not able to clear out the "Flat tire!" message on the nav display or the flat tire icon on the dash.
And while that message was displayed, the "Set Tire" option in the FTM menu was unselectable (i.e. greyed out).
