1)my engine oil warning comes on when it has a cold start, usually it goes in 10 mins. (saying that the engine oil is below minimum level)

2)the windscreen washer (right one) is not spraying, its basically leaking the washing fluid when i tell it to spray....

3)I just had a HEADLIGHT N TAILLIGHt retrofit! the LCI one, im happy about it but once its done, the parking sensors r gone? m the next 5 mins, they come back on? then they will suddenly stop working then start working the nxt min! checked all the plugs connection at the front, they r all ok.

4)this night after parking on street, it started making some veryyyy sharp squeaky noises(only when the car is moving). so then i stopped and check, nothing looks wrong, so i tried putting it into reverse n going backwards, then start going forward again, then the noise is gone? then for the next 3 hrs drive, that noise didnt come again! ( ACCORDIng to my gf n my frd, it comes from the front left wheel?) <-- not sure?

any1 knws how can i solve those problems? or shall i get it to the stealer for a check?.........

2)the windscreen washer (right one) is not spraying, its basically leaking the washing fluid when i tell it to spray.... dirty nozzle? try using a pin and clean the hole.

 

i just booked my car at my local stealer, and they are charging me 106 pounds (at least) for checking all those since its an hr of labour!!

any1 has any idea what so ever about what can be done????????? plEASE????

 

did you try my ideas?

 

1) This is probebly just your oil levelling sensor which is sluggish. It is mounted at the bottom of the engine's oil pan.

2) Use a small needle to rinse the nossle. Probably just dirt which have clogged it up.

3) Problems with the earth-connections maybe? They tend to give the outmost weird problems.

4) A small rock between the brake disc and the shield just behind. I had a pain with this on my old E39, but not so much on the E60. Happens sometimes though.

# 1 and # 2 you should do what acuteperformance suggested. #3 might need a re-program and number 4 can be a number of suspension related problem. G/L

problem 1 n 2 r solved. the engine oil level is a bit low, according to the dip stick. but the engine oil level warning doesnt come up all the night but it usually comes up parking over a cold night. but it should be ok now. sensor is ok, but its just touching the low level mark of the stick. so thats why the oil level warning doesnt pops up all the time.

for the PDC, im going to the stealer n get it checked.

for the last problem, i decided not to get it checked because the noise never come back after that special occassion. unless it happens again, i guess i dont need to get it checked to save some $$ haha.

so all down bvut the PDC to be checked. thanks every1
