Help! Crank but no start issue

Would i be able to purchase a parted out dme and vin code it on nscs or something

You need cloning software to be able to program a used DME to the car. You'll be better off finding a company that does it. The cloning software is around $2k you can find a company around $400 to send you a cloned DME.

Your DME and CAS are synced together for the car to start. You have to either clone a used DME or go to a shop and have a new one out in.

Idea:

You don't live too far from FCP Euro in Milford.

There is a FCP BMW club in the area with a ton of talent and connections.

One of those guys could be physically helpful.

Joining a local BMW club is always a good option.

agreed unfortunately this corona crap has killed alot of gatherings, i got a replacement dme had dudmd clone it now waiting for the pc to charge and see whats up fingers crossed

Out of all the BMW shops that clone DME's, why did you select dudmd?

used him for diesel bmw work before, and price and how quickly he responded to questions. I thought he was pretty reputable?
