Default help Changing vin of AFS after battery Problems

Ok so i had 1 some battery problems and 2 a slight coolant leak from reservoir (Not sure if it has anything to do with this issue but i figured to mention since issues all happened around the same time) that may have gotten the plug of module right in from of it which i think has something to do with dsc, abs, afs if I'm not mistaken. after changing battery thermostat and coolant reservoir i started getting a yellow steering wheel with ! next too it that stays on and right after starting a idrive message saying afs has been disabled so drive carefully, however dsc and abs work fine with no errors or messages of any kind. i have tried the turning the wheel thing and it dont work but when checking codes i get this AL: Control unit: comparison, vehicle identification numbers. the module has never been changed or anything so maybe batt issues caused it to reset, it says ecu is fine now but it cant do anymore than that since vin isnt same it then deads comm with module from what i know, what i need help with is the easiest way for me to set the vin on module so i can see if that will solve this and take that liht off my dash lol. if poss i know ncs more than tool32 or any of program but if its not poss with that i will just have a reason to now learn the one i need to use. thanks

If you have NCS and INPA is all you need to change the VIN. Is the module corroded the reason.

@Jnelson1182 Some codes don't magically fix themselves. You have to reset them manually. I have the same problem with changing my battery now. The notifications never go away even though the problem was resolved. I had to buy a BMW code reader and clear the error from the specific module or else it stays forever no matter what I do.

i have ista an inpa, i attached latest errors. and ok thanks is there anyway u may know the link to a guide that will explain how i go about checking what vin the module has currently as well as changing it if that what is needed?

its weird i have been having an rpm bounce thingy for awhile now an i just changed ebox fan due to errors since owning car, same day i ran royal purple fuel system treatment and filled my tank, i am around half wah thru that tank and since adding it in the rpm issue has not really been a problem and i notice now there's a sweet spot in acceleration pedal where if i leave my foot there when accelerating it picks up speed like it should and rpms are just fine. does this sound like injectors may have jus been really clogged cuz i dont see ebox not actuvating causin the issues i was seeing. also im pretty sure i should get new batt but i would like to test theroy using a known correct batt to see if there is actually a difference in my issues since im on limited budget.

also i dont think it fixed itself but the issues which lead to the state its in now have been fix but due to one of them, either batt issue or coolant resivor leaking onto ele plug from module right in front of it on pass side between tank and front end(Tho not positive mod has anything to do with it or not) both have been fixed and when i run car with ista it says ecu is responding but still has the errprs sp if i remeber right ive read somewhere i can try unplugging it an plugging it in again which may correct vin issue but if not shouldnt i jus have to re input it since the mod is original to car?

I've never seen a sideways flap only up and down. If there's no force then it's bad
